Check before Engine Is Started


1. CHECK SHIFT POSITION INDICATOR

1.Park vehicle on flat surface.
2.Shift the selector lever to "P" position.
3.Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 5 seconds.
4.Turn ignition switch ON.
Is shift position indicator displayed?
YES- 1.Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.Perform self-diagnosis and note NG items. Refer to "DTC Index" A L L Diagnostic Trouble Codes ( DTC ).
3.Go to "Check at Idle" Check at Idle.
NO- Stop "Road Test". Refer to "Symptom Table" Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures.
