Brake and/or Accelerator Pedals - Removal

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the instrument panel. Service and Repair






3. Remove brake lamp switch.
4. Remove the mounting bolts (3) securing the shaft.

NOTE: Clutch pedal is spring loaded (4), care should be taken when shaft is being removed.

5. Slide the pedal shaft inboard until pedals fall free.
6. Remove pedal bushings (5) if they are to be replaced.
