Cooling Fan - Installation

INSTALLATION





1. Position the electric cooling fan, fan shroud and viscous fan in to the vehicle as an assembly.
2. Install the upper electric fan mounting bolts. Tighten the bolts to 6 Nm (53 in. lbs.)
3. Install the upper fan shroud mounting bolts. Tighten the bolts to 8 Nm (71 in. lbs.)
4. Raise and support the vehicle.
5. Install the lower electric fan mounting bolts. Tighten the bolts to 6 Nm (53 in. lbs.)
6. Install the lower radiator hose to fan shroud retainers (1).
7. Install the lower radiator seal push pins.
8. Lower the vehicle.





9. Install the viscous fan to the fan pulley.
10. Connect the electric fan jumper harness (1) at the fan shroud and fan.
11. Install the upper radiator seal.
12. Install the windshield washer fluid reservoir .Windshield Washer Reservoir - Installation
13. Connect the negative battery cable.
