C-Pillar Trim Panel - Removal
REMOVAL
1. Remove the bolts that secure the rear passenger seat cushion to the floor, Seat Cushion Cover - Removal.
2. Position the rear passenger seat cushion to gain access to the bolt (3) that secures the rear outboard seat belt lower anchor and the rear seat back bracket to the rear floor panel.
3. Loosen the bolt (3) that secures the rear outboard seat belt lower anchor and the rear seat back bracket to the rear floor panel.
4. Disengage the lower anchor from the loosened bolt.
5. Remove the trim plug (1) from the upper c-pillar trim.
CAUTION: The upper trim plug must be removed and discarded to gain access to the upper retaining screw before attempting to remove the trim panel. Failure to remove the trim screw may result in damage to the trim panel or the retaining clip.
6. Using a small drill (2) approximately 3 mm (7/64"), drill a hole into the trim plug (1).
7. Using a hook type tool (1) or equivalent, remove and discard the trim plug (2).
8. Using a magnetic screwdriver or equivalent, remove the upper screw and pull the upper part of the trim panel (1) away from the pillar and release the bottom tabs (2).
9. Remove the seat belt from the upper C-pillar trim panel through the slot provided and remove the upper C-pillar trim panel.
