DTC 5 "Code 5. Back-Up Battery Failure"

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION

The telephone ECU (Mayday ECU) monitors the backup battery voltage at terminal SUB BATT. When the voltage drops, this DTC is output. If the battery is normal and recharged with the ignition switch ON, the DTC is cleared.

HINT: If DTC is not cleared even though the battery is replaced, replace the telephone ECU (Mayday ECU).
