DTC B1232 JAM PROTECTION PULSE SWITCH CIRCUIT ON DRIVER DOOR

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION

DTC Detection Condition:

This DTC is output when failure of the jam protection pulse switch circuit is detected.

The jam protection pulse switch is built in the power window motor.

This switch is OFF when the window stays between the fully closed position and 4 mm under the full-closed position and power window master switch reads this signal.

HINT: When the power window master switch detects the condition that the power window is lowered to turn the pulse switch from OFF to ON, this DTC is cleared.

HINT: In case of using the hand-held tester, start the inspection from step 1 and in case of not using the hand-held tester, start from step 2.
