Input Signal Check
INPUT SIGNAL CHECKHINT:
- For check No. 1 - No. 3.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- For check No. 4.
Jack up the vehicle.
Start the engine.
Shift to D position
a. Check the input signal
1. Keep the main switch to -/SET or +/RES position and hold it down or hold it up.
2. Press the switch button to ON.
3. Check that the CRUISE main indicator light blinks twice or 3 times repeatedly after 3 seconds.
4. Turn the -/SET or +/RES switch to OFF.
5. Operate each switch as listed in the table.
6. Read the blinking pattern of the CRUISE main indicator light.
7. After performing the check, turn the main switch button to OFF.
HINT: When 2 or more signals are input to the ECM, the lowest numbered code will be displayed first.
INPUT SIGNAL CHECK (Using hand-held tester)
a. Connect the hand-held tester to DLC3.
b. Check the control switch (MAIN, CANCEL, -/SET, +/RES).
