Hybrid Control System
P310 HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL: HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM: P0560-117: System Voltage
DTC P0560-117 - System Voltage
DESCRIPTION
- Battery power is constantly supplied to the BATT terminal of the HV control ECU for DTCs and freeze frame data memory even though the ignition switch is turned off.
MONITOR DESCRIPTION
If 3 or more seconds have elapsed with a voltage of less than 2.5 V at the BATT terminal in the HV control ECU, the HV control ECU will determine that a malfunction has occurred in the back-up power supply system, and set a DTC. The MIL will illuminate the next time the engine is started.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK CONNECTION CONDITION OF HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU CONNECTOR (LOOSENESS AND POOR CONTACT)
(a) Check the connections of all HV control ECU connectors.
OK:
Connectors are connected securely and there is no poor connection.
NG -- CONNECT SECURELY
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HV CONTROL ECU - IGCT NO.5 FUSE)
(a) Turn the ignition switch OFF.
(b) Remove the IGCT No.5 fuse from the engine room R/B.
(c) Disconnect the H29 connector from the HV control ECU.
(d) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance (Check for open):
Standard Resistance (Check for short):
NOTE: When taking a measurement with a tester, do not apply excessive force to the tester probe to avoid damaging the holder.
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (IGCT NO.5 FUSE - BATTERY POSITIVE TERMINAL)
(a) Disconnect the positive and negative cables from the auxiliary battery.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
4. RECONFIRM OUTPUT DTC (HV)
HINT: If DTC P0560-117 is output again after performing the inspection, replace the HV control ECU. If the DTC is not output, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness or connector. Perform a check for intermittent problems.
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
(c) Select the following menu items: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
(d) Read output DTC. Hybrid Control System
Result:
DTC P0560-117 is output again.
NO -- INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS
YES -- REPLACE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU
