DTC P1615 - Communication Error from Distance Control ECU to HV ECU

DESCRIPTION

The distance control ECU receives information about the area in front of the vehicle from the laser sensor and then sends a brake control demands signal (deceleration demand) and diagnosis signals, such as laser sensor grime signals or laser sensor malfunction signals, to the hybrid vehicle control ECU.






INSPECTION PROCEDURE
HINT: The hybrid vehicle control ECU is considered normal because it determines that signals sent from the distance control ECU are not normal. If a communication error occurs, DTC U1101 will be set.

PROCEDURE

1. REPLACE DISTANCE CONTROL ECU
(a) Replace the distance control ECU Removal.
NOTE: When the distance control ECU is replaced with a new one, initialization must be performed Installation.
