DESCRIPTION

The HV system performs the fail-safe control based on an abnormal signal from the EFI system.






INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. DTC OUTPUT (SFI SYSTEM)
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
(c) Select the following menu items: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
(d) Read output DTC. DTC Check / Clear

OK:
DTCs are output
YES -- GO TO DTC CHART
NO -- REPLACE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU
