DESCRIPTION

The HV control ECU monitors internal operations and detects a malfunction.






MONITOR DESCRIPTION

The HV control ECU performs many diagnostic tests to verify proper operation of internal ECU systems. There is a check for errors in the ROM (Read Only Memory) circuits of the HV control ECU by one of these tests. If the HV control ECU detects this malfunction inside of the ECU, it will illuminate the MIL and set a DTC.
