REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

2. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE LH COVER NO.2 Removal

3. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM COVER SIDE Removal

4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
5. DRAIN COOLANT (for Engine) Testing and Inspection

6. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY RH Removal

7. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH Removal

8. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

9. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY Removal

10. REMOVE COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY OUTER Removal

11. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal

12. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP W/ INLET






(a) Disconnect the 4 clamps.
(b) Remove the 2 bolts and air cleaner cap w/ inlet.
(c) Remove the air cleaner element from the air cleaner case.
13. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE W/ RESONATOR






(a) Separate the ventilation hose No.2.






(b) Disconnect the MAF meter connector.
(c) Disconnect the 2 wire harness clamps from the air cleaner.






(d) Remove the 5 bolts from the air cleaner case w/ resonator.






(e) Remove the hose clamp, and separate the air cleaner hose No.1.
(f) Remove the air cleaner case w/ resonator.
14. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY






(a) Disconnect the throttle motor connector (A).
(b) Separate the water by-pass hose No.2 (B).
(c) Separate the water by-pass hose No.3 (C).
(d) Separate the fuel vapor feed hose (D).






(e) Remove the 4 bolts and the throttle body assembly.






(f) Remove the throttle body gasket from the intake air connector.
