P310 HYBRID TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: HYBRID VEHICLE TRANSAXLE:

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL HYBRID VEHICLE TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY
(a) Make sure that the knock pins are installed on the engine.






(b) Install the hybrid vehicle transaxle and the 8 bolts shown in the illustration to the engine.
Bolt A - Torque: 64 Nm (653 kgf-cm, 47 ft-lbf)
Bolt B - Torque: 46 Nm (469 kgf-cm, 34 ft-lbf)
Bolt C - Torque: 64 Nm (653 kgf-cm, 47 ft-lbf)
Bolt D - Torque: 37 Nm (377 kgf-cm, 27 ft-lbf)
- Do not reuse bolt B.
- Do not forcibly pry on the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.
- Do not apply the grease either to the splines or to the input shaft.





2. INSTALL NO. 1 TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE BRACKET
(a) Install the No.1 control cable bracket and 2 new bolts.
Torque: 12 Nm (120 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)
3. INSTALL OIL COOLER INLET TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Oil Cooler)
(a) Install the oil cooler tube bracket and bolt.
Torque: 8.2 Nm (84 kgf-cm, 73 in-lbf)
(b) Using SST and a wrench, tighten a new oil cooler inlet tube.
Torque: 34 Nm (350 kgf-cm, 25 ft-lbf)
SST: 09023-12701
4. INSTALL OIL COOLER OUTLET TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Oil Cooler)
(a) Using SST and a wrench, tighten a new oil cooler outlet tube.
Torque: 34 Nm (350 kgf-cm, 25 ft-lbf)
SST: 09023-12701
(b) Install the oil cooler tube clamp and bolt.
Torque: 7.0 Nm (71 kgf-cm, 62 in-lbf)
5. INSTALL FRONT ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET






(a) Install the front engine mounting bracket with the 3 bolts.
Torque: 64 Nm (653 kgf-cm, 47 ft-lbf)
6. INSTALL WATER HOSE






(a) Install the water hose with the clamp.
7. INSTALL AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION CASE COVER






(a) Install the case cover with the bolt and clip.
(b) Install the wire harness bracket with the bolt.
Torque: 8.4 Nm (86 kgf-cm, 74 in-lbf)
8. CONNECT ENGINE WIRE






(a) Install the 4 wire harness brackets with the bolts.
Torque: 8.4 Nm (86 kgf-cm, 74 in-lbf)
(b) Connect the connector.





(c) Connect the wire harnesses to the wire harness clamp.
(d) Install the ground wire with the bolt.
Torque: 8.4 Nm (86 kgf-cm, 74 in-lbf)
9. INSTALL FLYWHEEL HOUSING UNDER COVER






(a) Remove the 2 bolts and flywheel housing under cover.
Torque: 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)
10. INSTALL FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY LH Installation

11. INSTALL FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY RH Installation

12. INSTALL FRONT FRAME ASSEMBLY Installation

13. INSTALL HYBRID VEHICLE TRANSAXLE MASS DAMPER Installation

14. INSTALL MANIFOLD STAY Installation

15. INSTALL ENGINE ASSEMBLY WITH HYBRID VEHICLE TRANSAXLE Installation
