MIRROR (EXT): OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR GLASS: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR GLASS

(a) Push the upper part of the mirror surface and tilt it.





(b) Apply protective tape to the areas shown in the illustration.

(c) Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws at the lower part of the outer rear view mirror.

(d) Push the lower part of the mirror surface and tilt it.





(e) Apply protective tape to the areas shown in the illustration.

(f) Using a moulding remover with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 2 claws at the upper part of the outer rear view mirror, and separate the outer rear view mirror glass.

(g) Disconnect each connector and remove the outer rear view mirror glass.
