Pinout Values and Diagnostic Parameters





HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM: TERMINALS OF ECU

1. CHECK AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY





(a) Disconnect the G12 and G13 amplifier connectors.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(c) Reconnect the G12 and G13 amplifier connectors.

(d) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.













* *1: w/ Rear Air Conditioning System

* *2: w/o Rear Air Conditioning System

* *3: w/ Refrigerated Cool Box

* If the result is not as specified, the air conditioning amplifier assembly may have a malfunction.

(e) Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 1.





A/C Compressor Lock Sensor Signal





(f) Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 2.





Blower Motor Control Signal





HINT
When the blower level is increased, the duty ratio changes accordingly.

2. CHECK AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY (FOR COOLING BOX) (w/ Refrigerated Cool Box)





(a) Disconnect the air conditioning amplifier (for cooling box) connector.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(c) Reconnect the air conditioning amplifier (for cooling box) connector.

(d) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





3. CHECK DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY (w/ Navigation System)





(a) Disconnect the H4 display connector.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

4. CHECK AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (w/o Navigation System)





(a) Disconnect the H32 control connector.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

5. CHECK NO. 2 AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Air Conditioning System)





(a) Disconnect the T2 control connector.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

6. CHECK DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY AND MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)





(a) Remove the main body ECU Removal.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

(c) Install the main body ECU Installation.

(d) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





* If the result is not as specified, the main body ECU or driver side junction block assembly may have a malfunction.
