INTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD: INSTALLATION
HINT
A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart Standard Bolt - Specified Torque For Standard Bolts.
1. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Attach the 2 guides to install the instrument panel safety pad.
(b) Connect the connectors and attach the clamps and claws.
(c) Install the 2 passenger airbag bolts [F].
Torque : 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)
(d) Install the 6 bolts [D] and nut [E].
(e) Install the front floor carpet.

(a) Attach the 11 clips to install the upper instrument cluster finish panel.

(a) Attach the 2 clips to install the front upper console panel garnish.

(a) Connect each connector and attach the clamp.
(b) Attach the 4 clips to install the glove compartment door.
(c) Install the 3 screws [B] and 2 bolts [C].

(a) Connect each connector and cooler thermistor.
(b) Attach the 4 clips to install the lower instrument panel finish panel.
31. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH CUSHION
(a) Connect the connector.
(b) Attach the 4 clips to install the No. 1 instrument panel finish cushion.
32. INSTALL NO. 2 SWITCH HOLE BASE
(a) Connect each connector.
(b) Attach the 5 clips and claw to install the No. 2 switch hole base.

(a) Attach the 3 clips and 2 guides to install the instrument side panel.

NOTICE:
* Reset the auto tilt away function setting to the previous condition by changing the customize parameter Programming and Relearning.
* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
48. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
(a) Check the SRS warning light Diagnosis System.
