1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH)

(a) Using the Techstream, read the Data List Interior Lighting System.

2. INSPECT FRONT DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the front door courtesy light switch Removal.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPLACE FRONT DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU - FRONT DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY)

(a) Remove the main body ECU Removal.

(b) Disconnect the R9*1 or Q8*2 front door courtesy light switch connector.

*1: for LH

*2: for RH

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

for LH
for RH










NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) Removal

4. INSPECT REAR DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the rear door courtesy light switch Removal.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPLACE REAR DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU - REAR DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY)

*1: for LH

*2: for RH

(a) Disconnect the G48*1 or G47*2 main body ECU connector.

(b) Disconnect the R10*1 or Q9*2 rear door courtesy light switch connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

for LH
for RH
