AUDIO / VIDEO: REAR SEAT ENTERTAINMENT ECU: REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
NOTICE:
* w/ Navigation System:
After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
Waiting Time before Disconnecting Cable from Negative (-) Battery Terminal:
* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH
(a) Remove the front seat assembly RH Removal.
3. REMOVE MULTI-MEDIA MODULE COVER
(a) Fold back the floor carpets in the directions of the arrows.
(b) Detach the 3 clips and remove the multi-media cover.
4. REMOVE MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET
(a) Disconnect the 4 connectors and detach the clamp.
(b) Fold back the floor carpet in the direction of the arrow.
(c) Remove the bolt, screw and multi-display controller sub-assembly with bracket.
5. REMOVE NO. 2 MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER BRACKET
(a) Remove the 2 screws and No. 2 multi-display controller bracket.
6. REMOVE NO. 3 MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER BRACKET
(a) Remove the 2 screws and No. 3 multi-display controller bracket.
