Removal





PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: CLEARANCE WARNING ECU: REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

NOTICE:
* w/ Navigation System:
After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

2. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH





(a) Put protective tape around the door scuff plate.

(b) w/o Illumination:

(1) Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 clips, 10 claws and 2 guides and remove the door scuff plate.

HINT
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

(c) w/ Illumination:

(1) Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 clips, 10 claws and 2 guides.

HINT
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

(2) Disconnect the connector and remove the door scuff plate.

3. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH





(a) Remove the clip.

(b) Detach the clip and claw and remove the cowl side trim board.

4. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

5. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX INSERT Removal

6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH Removal

7. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH Removal

8. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH Removal

9. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY Removal

10. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT COVER LH Removal

11. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Removal

12. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL BOX DOOR COVER Removal

13. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL BOX ASSEMBLY Removal

14. REMOVE CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY





(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Remove the bolt and clearance warning ECU.
