DESCRIPTION

This circuit detects the conditions (on or off) of the headlight cleaner switch assembly.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT CLEANER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the headlight cleaner switch assembly Testing and Inspection.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPLACE HEADLIGHT CLEANER SWITCH ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT CLEANER SWITCH ASSEMBLY - HEADLIGHT CLEANER CONTROL RELAY AND MAIN BODY ECU)

(a) Disconnect the G54 headlight cleaner switch connector.

(b) Disconnect the A32 headlight cleaner control relay connector.

(c) Remove the main body ECU Removal.

(d) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
