HYBRID / BATTERY CONTROL: BATTERY SMART UNIT: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL BATTERY SMART UNIT

CAUTION:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.

(a) Install the battery smart unit with the 2 nuts.





Torque : 7.5 Nm (76 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf)

(b) Connect the 3 connectors.

NOTICE:
The connectors should be connected securely.

2. CHECK HIGH VOLTAGE CABLE CONNECTION Installation

3. INSTALL BATTERY COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

5. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER Installation

6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
