HYBRID / BATTERY CONTROL: HV RELAY ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL
1. PRECAUTION

2. READ OUTPUT DTC
(a) Check for DTCs Hybrid Battery System.
NOTICE:
Check for DTCs and confirm that P0AA6 (Hybrid Battery Voltage System Isolation Fault) is not output before doing removal or installation inside the battery. If the DTC is output, perform troubleshooting first.
3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
4. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER Removal
5. REMOVE SERVICE PLUG GRIP Removal
6. REMOVE BATTERY COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

Removal.
7. REMOVE HYBRID BATTERY JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY
CAUTION:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.
NOTICE:
Insulate the removed terminals with insulating tape.
(a) Remove the 2 nuts, then disconnect the No. 3 wire frame from the hybrid battery junction block assembly.
(b) Disconnect the 2 main battery cable connectors and No. 3 wire frame connector from the hybrid battery junction block assembly.
(c) Disconnect the 2 connectors from the hybrid battery junction block assembly.
(d) Remove the 3 nuts and hybrid battery junction block assembly.
(e) Remove the 2 bolts and EV battery fuse.
