Removal





SUSPENSION CONTROL: PNEUMATIC TANK: REMOVAL

CAUTION:
Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing Repair Instruction - Initialization.

NOTICE:
Before removal, make sure to disable vehicle height control by pressing the height control OFF switch and confirming that the height control OFF indication is displayed on the meter.

1. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System for HDD)

NOTICE:
After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

2. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX Removal

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

4. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER RH

5. REMOVE ENGINE SERVICE COVER STAY

(a) Remove the 3 bolts and engine service cover stay from the body.





6. REMOVE PNEUMATIC TANK WITH TUBE ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.





(b) Using SST, disconnect the height control tube from the pneumatic tank with tube assembly.

HINT
For the disconnecting procedure of the tube (type 2), refer to Precaution of the suspension control system Service Precautions.

(c) Separate the height control tube from the clamp.

(d) Remove the 2 bolts and pneumatic tank with tube assembly.





7. REMOVE NO. 1 HEIGHT CONTROL TUBE

(a) Remove the 2 holders and No. 1 height control tube.
