Removal

2GR-FXE ENGINE CONTROL: THROTTLE BODY: REMOVAL

1. REPLACE PRECAUTION (w/ Air Suspension)

NOTICE:
Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing Service Precautions.

2. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the windshield wiper motor and link assembly Removal.

3. REMOVE FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER CAP (w/ Air Suspension) Removal

4. REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

5. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

6. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

7. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (for Engine) Coolant (for Engine)

8. REMOVE INTAKE AIR RESONATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

9. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR CLEANER INLET Removal

10. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Removal

11. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY WITH HOSE

(a) Separate the mass air flow meter connector and wire harness clamp.





(b) Separate the fuel vapor feed hose from the 2 hose clamps.

(c) Disconnect the ventilation hose.





(d) Loosen the hose clamp and separate the air cleaner hose from the throttle body.

(e) Remove the 2 bolts and remove the air cleaner assembly with hose.





12. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY

(a) Disconnect the 2 water by-pass hoses from the throttle body.





(b) Disconnect the throttle body connector and wire harness clamp.

(c) Remove the 4 bolts, throttle body and wire harness clamp stay.





(d) Remove the gasket from the intake air surge tank assembly.
