P313 HYBRID TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: HYBRID VEHICLE TRANSAXLE: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE ENGINE ASSEMBLY WITH TRANSAXLE

HINT
Refer to the procedure up to Remove Engine Assembly with Transaxle Removal.

2. REMOVE FRONT FRAME ASSEMBLY Removal

3. REMOVE MANIFOLD STAY Removal

4. SEPARATE ENGINE WIRE

(a) Disconnect the 4 connectors and 8 wire harness clamps.





5. REMOVE NO. 3 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION CASE COVER

(a) Remove the bolt and No. 3 transmission control cable bracket.





(b) Remove the 2 bolts, clip and No. 3 automatic transmission case cover from the transaxle.





6. REMOVE FRONT ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET

(a) Remove the 3 bolts and front engine mounting bracket.





7. REMOVE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION CASE COVER

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and automatic transmission case cover.





8. REMOVE HYBRID TRANSAXLE MASS DAMPER

(a) Remove the hybrid transaxle mass damper and gasket.





9. REMOVE HYBRID VEHICLE TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 10 bolts.





(b) Separate and remove the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.

NOTICE:
Do not pry between the transaxle assembly and engine more than necessary to prevent the knock pins from being damaged.

10. REMOVE NO. 2 TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE BRACKET

(a) Remove the bolt and No. 2 transmission control cable bracket.





11. REMOVE WIRE HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and 2 wire harness clamp brackets.





12. REMOVE NO. 1 TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE BRACKET

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and No. 1 transmission control cable bracket.





13. REMOVE OUTLET OIL COOLER TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Using a union nut wrench (17 mm), disconnect the outlet oil cooler tube sub-assembly.

(b) Remove the bolt, No. 2 oil cooler tube clamp and outlet oil cooler tube sub-assembly from the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.

(c) Remove the oil cooler tube union and gasket from the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.





(d) Remove the bolt and No. 1 oil cooler tube clamp from the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.
