P313 HYBRID TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

NOTICE:
When connecting the transmission control cable, install the shift lever first and then the control shaft lever side.

(a) Pass the control cable from the cabin to the engine compartment.

(b) Install the transmission control cable assembly with the 3 bolts.

Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

(c) Connect the transmission control cable assembly to the 3 transmission control cable brackets.

4. INSTALL RADIATOR RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY Installation

5. INSTALL NO. 4 INVERTER BRACKET Installation

6. CONNECT NO. 2 ENGINE ROOM WIRE Installation

7. CONNECT WATER HOSE Installation

8. CONNECT MG ECU CONNECTOR Installation

9. INSTALL RELAY BLOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

10. REMOVE INVERTER TERMINAL COVER Installation

11. CONNECT NO. 3 WIRE FRAME Installation

12. CONNECT HIGH VOLTAGE CABLE OF FRONT MOTOR Installation

13. CONNECT NO. 3 WIRE FRAME (for AWD) Installation

14. CONNECT NO. 4 ENGINE WIRE Installation

15. CHECK HIGH VOLTAGE CABLE CONNECTION Installation

16. INSTALL INVERTER TERMINAL COVER Installation

17. INSTALL NO. 1 INVERTER RESERVE TANK BRACKET Installation

18. INSTALL INVERTER RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY Installation

19. INSTALL NO. 3 INVERTER BRACKET Installation

20. INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY WITH HOSE Installation

21. INSTALL INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER Installation

22. INSTALL INLET NO. 2 AIR CLEANER Installation

23. INSTALL INTAKE AIR RESONATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

24. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL REINFORCEMENT ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CONDITIONING UNIT ASSEMBLY

HINT
Refer to the procedure from Install Instrument Panel Reinforcement Assembly with Air Conditioning Unit Assembly Installation.

25. CONNECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

NOTICE:
Before installing the transmission control cable assembly, check that the shift lever position sensor and the shift lever are in neutral.

(a) Turn back the boot.

(b) Slide the slider of the transmission control cable in the direction indicated by the arrow and pull the lock piece outward.

NOTICE:
* Make sure that the claws A on the clip are securely fit into the bracket holes.
* Make sure that the cable is securely installed inside of the claws B of the clip.

(e) Connect the transmission control cable to the control shaft lever with the nut.

Torque : 12 Nm (122 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
Check that the lock piece is pulled up.

(f) Push the lock piece into the adjuster case.

NOTICE:
* Check that the shift lever position sensor and the shift lever are in neutral.
* Securely push in the lock piece until the slider lock is engaged.

(g) Refit the boot.

26. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

30. ADD COOLANT (for Inverter) Coolant (for Inverter)

31. ADD COOLANT (for Engine) Coolant (for Engine)

32. CHARGE WITH REFRIGERANT Service and Repair

33. WARM UP ENGINE

34. INSPECT FOR REFRIGERANT LEAK Service and Repair

35. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK (for Inverter) Testing and Inspection

36. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK (for Engine) On-Vehicle Inspection

37. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

38. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Installation

39. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER Installation

40. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Installation

41. PLACE FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD

42. INSPECT STEERING PAD Installation

43. INSPECT SUSPENSION CONTROL SYSTEM (w/ Air Suspension)

(a) Inspect the suspension control system Test Mode Procedure.

44. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT

(a) Inspect the SRS warning light Diagnosis System.

45. INSPECT SHIFT LEVER POSITION Adjustments

46. ADJUST SHIFT LEVER POSITION Adjustments

47. INSPECT SHIFT LEVER OPERATION Adjustments

48. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
