DTC B2212 DOOR CLOSER MOTOR MALFUNCTION ON PASSENGER DOOR

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION

DTC Detecting Condition:

This DTC is output when failure of cam position circuit is detected.

HINT: When cam position switch 1, 2 and 3 are not all "ON" or all "OFF", this DTC is cleared.

The closer detection switch is built in the door lock assembly.

This switch is to detect the position of the closer motor.




The relationship between each switch and closer motor conditions are as given.

When it operates regular rotation, the operation goes from top of the list. When reverse rotation, from bottom of the list.

If the closer detection switch does not operate in order mentioned above, Passenger door ECU judges the closer as errors, and the operation is stopped.

Regular rotation: 1 -> 2 -> 3 -> 4 -> 6 -> 5 -> 1
Reverse rotation: 1 -> 5 -> 6 -> 4 -> 3 -> 2 -> 1
