LIGHTING: LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION
HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.





1. INSTALL BACK DOOR GARNISH RETAINER SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the retainer to the luggage compartment door with the 2 clips.
(b) Install the 2 screws.
2. INSTALL LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY





(a) Install the license plate light to the luggage compartment door with the 2 screws.






(b) Connect the connector.
3. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY OUTSIDE







4. INSTALL LUGGAGE DOOR OPENING SWITCH ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the switch to luggage compartment door with the 2 screws.
(b) Connect the connector.
5. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER Installation

6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
7. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
(a) Perform initialization Repair Instruction - Initialization.
NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
