DTC B2427 - CAN Communication Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

- The AFS ECU receives an engine or hybrid control system running status signal and shift position signal from the ECM using CAN communication.

- The AFS ECU receives front speed sensor LH and RH signals from the skid control ECU using CAN communication.

- The AFS ECU receives the headlight status signal from the main body ECU using CAN communication.

- The AFS ECU sends an AFS OFF indicator light ON or OFF demand signal to the combination meter ECU using CAN communication.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK FOR DTC
(a) Clear the DTC Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
(b) Check for DTC Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
OK:
DTC B2427 output does not occur.
NG -- GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
OK -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK
