DTC 2-6 - Network Access Device Communication Error

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is output when a communication error occurs between the CPU and each interface in the mayday ECU.










INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. RESET MAYDAY ECU
(a) Exit diagnosis mode and wait for 10 seconds.
(b) Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, and wait for 10 minutes.
NOTICE:
- After the power switch is turned OFF, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch OFF, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
(c) Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal, and wait for 10 seconds.
NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
(d) Turn the power switch ON (IG).
(e) Keep the power switch ON (IG) for 5 minutes or more.
(f) Check for DTC again Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

A -- REPLACE MAYDAY ECU TOGETHER WITH MAYDAY BATTERY AND THEN PERFORM REGISTRATION
