Removal








SUSPENSION: FRONT ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ACTUATOR: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Battery

3. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER

4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
NOTICE:
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
- After the power switch is turned OFF, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch OFF, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

5. REMOVE SERVICE PLUG GRIP Installation

6. REMOVE FRONT CENTER FLOOR COVER Removal

7. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER Removal

8. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH Removal

9. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH Removal

10. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER Removal

11. REMOVE FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION MEMBER PROTECTOR Removal







12. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Remove the 2 nuts and front stabilizer link.
HINT: If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 6 mm hexagon wrench to hold the stud bolt.

13. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH
HINT: Remove the RH side following the same procedures as the LH side.

14. REMOVE FRONT FENDER WHEEL OPENING MOULDING LH

15. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER LH Removal







16. DISCONNECT FRONT ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ACTUATOR CONNECTOR
(a) Disconnect the wire harness clamp.
(b) Disconnect the actuator connector labeled A.
(c) Disconnect the actuator connector labeled B.
(1) Release the lever's lock. (*1)
(2) Press the claw and move the lever in the direction of the arrow in the illustration. (*2)
(3) Disconnect the actuator connector. (*3)
NOTE: When disconnecting the actuator connector, do not apply excessive force to the wire harness.

17. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET LH





(a) Remove the bolt and wire harness bracket.






(b) Remove the 2 bolts and front No. 1 stabilizer bracket LH from the front frame assembly.
18. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET RH






(a) Remove the bolts and disconnect water with motor and bracket pump bracket.






(b) Remove the 2 bolts and front No. 1 stabilizer bracket RH from the front frame assembly.
19. REMOVE FRONT ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the front active stabilizer control actuator from the vehicle.
20. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BAR BUSH
(a) Remove the 2 front No. 1 stabilizer bar bushes from the front active stabilizer control actuator.
