SUSPENSION CONTROL: REAR ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ECU: REMOVAL
REMOVAL
1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY
2. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Battery
3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
NOTICE:
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
- After the power switch is turned OFF, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch OFF, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
4. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER
5. REMOVE SERVICE PLUG GRIP Removal
6. REMOVE ROPE HOOK
7. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY
8. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY
9. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER COVER (w/ Rear Cooler) Removal
10. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER
11. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE
12. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY LH
13. DISCONNECT REAR ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ACTUATOR CONNECTOR
(a) Detach the wire harness clamp.
(b) Disconnect the actuator connector labeled A.
(c) Disconnect the actuator connector labeled B.
(1) Release the lever's lock. (*1)
(2) Press the claw and move the lever in the direction of the arrow in the illustration. (*2)
(3) Disconnect the actuator connector. (*3)
NOTE: When disconnecting the actuator connector, do not apply excessive force to the wire harness.
14. REMOVE REAR ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ECU
(a) Remove the 2 bolts and ECU.
(b) Disconnect the ECU connector.
(1) Release the lever's lock. (*1)
(2) Press the claw and move the lever in the direction of the arrow in the illustration. (*2)
(3) Disconnect the ECU connector. (*3)
NOTE: When disconnecting the ECU connector, do not apply excessive force to the wire harness.
