INTERIOR: REAR SUNSHADE ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Battery

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
NOTICE:
- After the power switch is turned OFF, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch OFF, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

4. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Fixed Seat Type)
(a) Remove the rear seat Removal.
5. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat)
(a) Remove the rear seat Removal.
6. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Ottoman)
(a) Remove the rear seat Removal.
7. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH Removal

8. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH Removal

9. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH Removal

10. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH Removal

11. REMOVE INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH LH Removal

12. REMOVE INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH RH Removal

13. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY






(a) for Fixed Seat Type, for Power Seat:
Using a moulding remover, detach the 4 claws and remove the 3 belt guides.
(b) for Ottoman:
Using a moulding remover, detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 belt guides.






(c) for Fixed Seat Type, for Power Seat:
Detach the 2 clips of the panel. Then pass the 3 rear seat belt floor anchors through the panel.






(d) for Ottoman:
Detach the 2 clips of the panel. Then pass the 2 rear seat belt floor anchors through the panel.
(e) w/o Rear Cooler:
Remove the panel.
(f) w/ Rear Cooler:
Disconnect the solar sensor connector and remove the panel.
14. REMOVE NO. 2 ROOF SIDE AIR DUCT LH (w/ Rear Cooler) Removal

15. REMOVE NO. 2 ROOF SIDE AIR DUCT RH (w/ Rear Cooler) Removal

16. REMOVE REAR NO. 4 AIR DUCT (w/ Rear Cooler) Removal

17. REMOVE REAR NO. 5 AIR DUCT (w/ Rear Cooler) Removal

18. REMOVE STEREO COMPONENT SPEAKER ASSEMBLY Removal

19. REMOVE NO. 2 PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY






(a) Detach the 5 claws and 3 clips.
20. REMOVE REAR SUNSHADE ASSEMBLY






(a) Remove the 4 bolts.
(b) Loosen the bolt labeled A and remove the sunshade.
NOTE: Do not remove the bolt labeled A from the rear sunshade.
