PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM: B2060: ABS Malfunction

DTC B2060 - ABS Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is output when a malfunction in the brake system is detected. This circuit consists of the skid control ECU and seat belt control ECU. Signals are sent from the skid control ECU using the CAN communication.






INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTE:
When the seat belt control ECU is replaced with a new one, INITIALIZATION must be performed. Pre-Collision System

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)
(a) Delete the DTC Pre-Collision System.
(b) Recheck for DTCs.
OK:
DTC U0122 is not output.
NG -- GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM)
(a) Check DTC for vehicle stability control system Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
OK:
DTC is not output.
NG -- GO TO VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM)
(a) Delete the DTC Pre-Collision System.
(b) Recheck for DTCs.
OK:
DTC B2060 is not output.
NG -- REPLACE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU
OK -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK
