DTC P16A4 - High Speed CAN Communication Bus

DESCRIPTION

ECM skid control ECU and A/C amplifier intercommunicates with the active control engine mount ECU through the Controller Area Network (CAN). If there is a problem in this intercommunication, the active control engine mount ECU sets a DTC.






INSPECTION PROCEDURE
HINT:
- Refer to inspection procedure for CAN communication system System Description.
- If the CAN communication malfunctions, the ECU cannot receive the current data from the ECM. However, reading the Data List as the first step of troubleshooting is effective to find malfunctions.
- The malfunction area can be checked using the BUS CHECK function of Techstream Diagnosis System.
