DTC B2007 - Open in Seat Belt Motor LH Circuit
DESCRIPTION
The seat belt control ECU receives information from the distance control ECU through CAN communication and tightens the seat belt by operating the motor in the front seat outer belt LH
CAUTION:
The pretensioner is built into the front seat outer belt LH. Be sure to follow the correct inspection procedure, as failure to follow the correct procedure (such as inspection of incorrect connectors) may activate the pretensioner.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
When the seat belt control ECU is replaced with a new one, Active Test must be performed Pre-Collision System.
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT LH - SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU)
(a) Disconnect the negative (-) terminal cable from the battery.
(b) Disconnect the V42 ECU connector.
(c) Disconnect the V6 belt connector.
(d) Using a service wire, connect terminals V6-1 and V6-2 of the connector.
NOTICE:
Do not forcibly insert a service wire into the terminals of the connector when connecting them.
(e) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.
Standard resistance::
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
2.
CHECK FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Disconnect the service wire from the V6 belt connector.
(b) Reconnect the V6 belt connector.
(c) Disconnect the V42 ECU connector.
(d) Measure the resistance of the belt.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPLACE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH
OK -- REPLACE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU
