DESCRIPTION

The ECU power source circuit supplies positive voltage to the multiplex tilt and telescopic ECU.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU - BATTERY)




(a) Disconnect the K27 connector from the multiplex tilt and telescopic ECU.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage:






NG -- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU - MAIN BODY ECU RH)
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU - BODY GROUND) B2610
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU
3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU - MAIN BODY ECU RH)




(a) Disconnect the DA connector from the main body ECU RH.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU - MAIN BODY ECU RH)
OK -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (BATTERY - MAIN BODY ECU RH)
