DTC B2784 - Antenna Coil Open / Short

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is output when there is an open or short malfunction in the key coil (built into power switch).






INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK FOR DTC
(a) Delete the DTC Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
(b) Check for DTC.
OK:
DTC B2784 output does not reoccur.
OK -- NORMAL
NG -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK POWER SWITCH (OPERATION)
(a) Temporarily replace the power switch with a new or normally functioning one Removal.
(b) Check for DTC.
OK:
DTC B2784 output does not reoccur.
NG -- REPLACE CERTIFICATION ECU
OK -- END (POWER SWITCH IS DEFECTIVE)
