DTC U0132 - Lost Communication with Suspension Control ECU

DESCRIPTION

If 2 or more DTCs are output during the DTC check, one side of the CAN branch wire may be open. (One side of the CANH [branch wire] /CANL [branch wire] of the ECU and/or sensor is open.)

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK FOR DTC
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the power switch ON (IG).
(c) Clear the DTC.
(d) Check for DTC.
HINT: When DTCs other than U0132 are output, inspect and repair the trouble areas indicated by those DTCs first.

2. CHECK CAN BUS LINE FOR DISCONNECTION (ABSORBER CONTROL ECU BRANCH WIRE)




(a) Disconnect the K72 absorber control ECU connector.
(b) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE ABSORBER CONTROL ECU BRANCH WIRE OR CONNECTOR (CANH, CANL)
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (ABSORBER CONTROL ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)




(a) Disconnect the K72 absorber control ECU connector.
(b) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.
Standard resistance:





(c) Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.
Standard voltage:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE ABSORBER CONTROL ECU
