DTC U0146-827 - Lost Communication with Gateway "A"

DESCRIPTION

Since the A/C amplifier is connected to the BEAN, signals sent to the hybrid vehicle control ECU on the CAN move from one network to the other via the network gateway ECU.






INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the power switch on (IG).
(c) Select the following menu items: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
(d) Check if DTCs are output.
Result:






YES -- GO TO MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
NO -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (ALL)
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the power switch on (IG).
(c) Check for and record DTCs of all systems by following the prompts on the Techstream screen.
NEXT -- GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
