IG Power Source Circuit

DESCRIPTION
- When the power switch is turned ON (IG), positive (+) battery voltage is applied to the main body ECU RH.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK BASIC FUNCTION (PUSH-BUTTON START FUNCTION)
(a) Check the basic function of the push-button start function.
OK:
Basic function operates normally.
NG -- GO TO SMART ACCESS SYSTEM WITH PUSH-BUTTON START (for Starting)
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT FUSE (ECU-IG RH)
(a) Remove the ECU-IG RH fuse from the main body ECU RH.
(b) Measure the resistance of the fuse.
Standard resistance:
Below 1 Ohms
NG -- REPLACE FUSE
OK -- Continue to next step.
3.
CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MAIN BODY ECU RH - BATTERY)




(a) Disconnect the DM junction block connector.
(b) Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.
Standard voltage:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
4.
CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MAIN BODY ECU RH - BODY GROUND)




(a) Disconnect the DD junction block connector.
(b) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
