2GR-FSE COOLING: RADIATOR: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL RADIATOR ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the 2 radiator support cushions and 2 radiator lower supports to the radiator.





(b) Install the fan to the radiator, and attach the 3 claws.





(c) Install the radiator with the 4 bolts.
Torque: 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44in-lbf)
(d) Connect the cooling fan ECU connector.

4. CONNECT OIL COOLER HOSE





(a) Connect the 2 oil cooler hoses and clamp.
5. CONNECT RADIATOR HOSE INLET
6. CONNECT RADIATOR HOSE OUTLET
7. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
8. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY Installation
9. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER Installation
10. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER Installation
11. INSTALL MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) Installation
12. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER Installation
13. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE Installation
14. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE Installation
15. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Installation
16. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
17. ADD ENGINE COOLANT (for Engine) Service and Repair
18. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK (for Engine) Testing and Inspection
19. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
20. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Installation
21. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Installation
22. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Installation
23. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER Installation
24. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
(a) Perform initialization Repair Instruction - Initialization.
NOTICE:
Certain systems need to be initialized after reconnecting the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
