Installation








L110 HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL: HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU





(a) Connect the 2 connectors to the hybrid vehicle control ECU and push each lock lever down to lock the connectors.
- Make sure that the lock lever is raised 90°before connecting the connectors. Failure to do this may cause the lock lever and terminals to break.
- Do not twist the wire harness when connecting the connector.

2. CONNECT ECM BRACKET





(a) Set the ECM bracket to the hybrid vehicle control ECU and ECM.
(b) Install the hybrid vehicle control ECU with the 2 bolts (A).
Torque: 3.0 Nm (31 kgf-cm, 27in-lbf)
(c) Install the ECM bracket with the 4 bolts (B) and nut.
Bolt - Torque: 3.0 Nm (31 kgf-cm, 27in-lbf)
Nut - Torque: 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49in-lbf)





(d) Connect the 3 wire harness clamps to the ECM bracket.
(e) Connect the wire harness clamp to the wire harness.
3. INSTALL RADIATOR RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY





(a) Install the radiator reserve tank assembly with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44in-lbf)
(b) Connect the inverter drain hose to the clamp.
4. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM NO. 1 RELAY BLOCK COVER
5. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Installation
6. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Installation
7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
8. PERFORM REGISTRATION
(a) If the hybrid control ECU is replaced, initialize the dynamic radar cruise control system Adjustments.
9. RESET MEMORY
(a) If the hybrid vehicle control ECU is replaced, initialize the learning value of the automatic transmission Programming and Relearning.
10. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
(a) Perform initialization procedure Repair Instruction - Initialization.
NOTICE:
Some vehicle systems require initialization after reconnecting the cable to the negative battery terminal.
