Installation








SUSPENSION: REAR UPPER NO. 1 CONTROL ARM: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. TEMPORARILY INSTALL REAR UPPER NO. 1 CONTROL ARM





(a) Temporarily install the control arm with the bolts, nuts and washers.





(b) Temporarily install the rear upper No. 1 control arm with the bolts, nuts and washers.
NOTICE:
Push the axle carrier downward.

2. TEMPORARILY INSTALL REAR SHOCK ABSORBER WITH COIL SPRING





(a) Temporarily install the rear shock absorber with coil spring with the bolt and nut.
(b) Temporarily install the rear stabilizer link and the load sensing valve sensor bracket to the rear No. 2 suspension arm with the bolt and nut.
3. STABILIZE SUSPENSION





(a) Jack up the axle carrier, with a wooden block placed between the jack and axle carrier, to apply load to the suspension so that the rear drive shaft assembly becomes level.
4. TIGHTEN REAR UPPER NO. 1 CONTROL ARM





(a) Tighten the nut on the control arm.
Torque: 161 Nm (1,640 kgf-cm, 119ft-lbf)





(b) Tighten the nut on the control arm.
Torque: 161 Nm (1,640 kgf-cm, 119ft-lbf)
5. TIGHTEN REAR SHOCK ABSORBER WITH COIL SPRING





(a) Tighten the bolt holding the rear shock absorber with coil spring.
Torque: 110 Nm (1,120 kgf-cm, 81ft-lbf)
NOTICE:
Turn the bolt while holding the nut.

(b) Tighten the nut holding the rear stabilizer link.
Torque: 27 Nm (275 kgf-cm, 20ft-lbf)
6. INSTALL NO. 2 DIFFERENTIAL SUPPORT PROTECTOR Installation
7. INSTALL REAR WHEEL
Torque: 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76ft-lbf)
8. INSPECT AND ADJUST REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT
(a) Inspect and adjust the rear wheel alignment Rear Wheel Alignment.
