L110 HYBRID TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: SHIFT LEVER: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL TRANSMISSION FLOOR SHIFT ASSEMBLY





(a) Install the floor shift assembly with the 4 bolts.
NOTICE:
Do not allow the wire harness to get caught between the parts.

Torque: 8.3 Nm (85 kgf-cm, 74in-lbf)
(b) Connect the 6 clamps to the floor shift assembly.
(c) Connect the 2 connectors to the floor shift assembly.
2. INSTALL FLOOR SHIFT GEAR SHIFTING ROD SUB-ASSEMBLY





(a) Turn the control shaft lever of the neutral start switch counterclockwise until it stops, and turn it clockwise 2 notches to set it to the N position.





(b) Move the shift lever to the N position and tighten the nut while lightly pushing the lever toward the R position.
Torque: 13 Nm (130 kgf-cm, 9ft-lbf)
NOTICE:
Do not push the shift lever too hard.

3. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR NO. 1 HEAT INSULATOR Installation
4. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR COVER CENTER RH





(a) Install the front floor cover center RH with the 3 grommets.
Torque: 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48in-lbf)
5. INSTALL FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY Installation
6. INSTALL REAR FLOOR NO. 1 PANEL BRACE Installation
7. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR BRACE CENTER Installation
8. INSTALL HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR
(a) Install the heated oxygen sensor Installation.
9. INSTALL NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX DUCT Installation
10. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY Installation
11. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX REGISTER ASSEMBLY Installation
12. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX PLATE Installation
13. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH Installation
14. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH Installation
15. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL ASSEMBLY Installation
16. INSTALL FRONT CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH Installation
17. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB





(a) Install the shift lever knob and twist it in the direction indicated by the arrow.
18. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
19. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Installation
20. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT
21. INSPECT SHIFT LEVER POSITION Adjustments
22. ADJUST SHIFT LEVER POSITION Adjustments
23. INSPECT SHIFT LEVER OPERATION Adjustments
24. CHECK FOR EXHAUST GAS LEAKS Installation
25. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
(a) Perform initialization Repair Instruction - Initialization.
NOTICE:
Certain systems need to be initialized after reconnecting the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
