DTC C1A02 - Vehicle Information Not Obtained

DESCRIPTION

When the driving support ECU is replaced with a new one, it acquires the country specification information from the combination meter. When the country specification information in the ECU and meter do not match, DTC C1A02 is output.






INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DRIVING SUPPORT ECU
(a) Using the Techstream, enter the following menus: Powertrain / Radar Cruise / Data List.
(b) Read the Data List and check the country specification information of the driving support ECU and vehicle.

B -- REPLACE DRIVING SUPPORT ECU
A -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK FOR DTC
(a) Using the Techstream, enter the following menus: Powertrain / Radar Cruise / Trouble Code.
(b) Select "Clear" and clear the data.
(c) Recheck for DTC.
OK:
DTC C1A02 is not output.
NG -- REPLACE DRIVING SUPPORT ECU
OK -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK
