DTC P0A95-123 - High Voltage Fuse

DESCRIPTION

Electric battery fuses are provided for various parts of the hybrid system to provide overcurrent protection. For this DTC, the battery smart unit monitors the voltage between terminals VB10 and VB9 to confirm the condition of the electric battery fuse in the service plug grip.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK FOR DTCS (DTC P0A1F-123 IS OUTPUT)
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the power switch on (IG).
(c) Select the following menu items: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
(d) Check if DTCs are output.
Result:






B -- GO TO DTC CHART (P0A1F-123)
A -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT SERVICE PLUG GRIP
(a) Turn the power switch off and remove the service plug grip Service Precautions.
NOTICE:
After removing the service plug grip, do not turn the power switch on (READY), unless instructed by the repair manual because this may cause a malfunction.




(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPLACE SERVICE PLUG GRIP
OK -- REPLACE HV BATTERY
