Reverse Signal Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The navigation ECU receives a reverse signal from the luggage room junction block ECU LH and information about the navigation antenna, and then adjusts vehicle position.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK VEHICLE SENSOR (NAVIGATION CHECK MODE)




(a) Enter the "Navigation Check" mode (Vehicle Sensors) Navigation Check Mode.
(b) Check that the display changes between ON and OFF according to the shift lever operation (P and R).
HINT: This display is updated once per seconds. As a result, it is normal for the display to lag behind the actual change in the switch.

NG -- CHECK NAVIGATION ECU
OK -- REPLACE NAVIGATION ECU
2. CHECK NAVIGATION ECU
(a) Disconnect the L65 ECU connector.




(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage:






NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY - NAVIGATION ECU)
OK -- REPLACE NAVIGATION ECU
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY - NAVIGATION ECU)




(a) Disconnect the L64 display connector.
(b) Disconnect the L65 ECU connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK VEHICLE SIGNAL (DISPLAY CHECK MODE)




(a) Enter the "Display Check" mode (Vehicle Signal Check) Display Check Mode.
(b) Check that the display changes between ON and OFF according to the shift lever operation (P and R).

HINT: This display is updated once per seconds. As a result, it is normal for the display to lag behind the actual change in the switch.

NG -- CHECK REAR JUNCTION BLOCK ECU
OK -- REPLACE MULTI-DISPLAY
5. CHECK REAR JUNCTION BLOCK ECU
(a) Disconnect the L59 display connector.




(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage:






NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY - REAR JUNCTION BLOCK ECU)
OK -- REPLACE MULTI-DISPLAY

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY - REAR JUNCTION BLOCK ECU)




(a) Disconnect the L59 display connector.
(b) Disconnect the S63 ECU connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
