AIR CONDITIONING: AIR CONDITIONING UNIT (for Rear Side): REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM Service and Repair
2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
3. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Removal
4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
NOTICE:
- After the power switch is turned OFF, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch OFF, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

5. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat)
(a) Remove the rear seat Removal.
6. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Ottoman)
(a) Remove the rear seat Removal.
7. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Fixed Seat Type)
(a) Remove the rear seat Removal.





8. REMOVE COOLING BOX ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Remove the 6 bolts and cooling box.
9. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
(a) Remove the rear door scuff plate Removal.
10. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
(a) Remove the rear door scuff plate Removal.
11. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH
(a) Remove the rear seat side garnish Removal.
12. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH
(a) Remove the rear seat side garnish Removal.
13. REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER LH
(a) Remove the roof side garnish inner Removal.
14. REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER RH
(a) Remove the roof side garnish inner Removal.
15. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY Removal
16. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER COVER (w/ Rear Cooler)
(a) Detach the 2 clips and remove the cover.
17. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER Removal
18. REMOVE ROPE HOOK Removal
19. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY Removal
20. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD RH Removal
21. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY Removal
22. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER Removal
23. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY (w/o Spare Tire)
24. REMOVE TOOL BOX (w/o Spare Tire) Removal
25. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE Removal
26. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY LH Removal
27. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY RH Removal





28. REMOVE NO. 3 HV BATTERY INTAKE DUCT
(a) Remove the clip.
(b) Detach the 2 claws and remove the duct.





29. REMOVE NO. 2 HV BATTERY INTAKE DUCT
(a) Detach the 2 claws and remove the duct.





30. REMOVE BATTERY COOLING BLOWER ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Remove the 3 nuts and blower.





31. REMOVE NO. 2 ROOF SIDE AIR DUCT LH
(a) Remove the clip.
(b) Detach the 2 claws and remove the duct.





32. REMOVE NO. 2 ROOF SIDE AIR DUCT RH
(a) Remove the clip.
(b) Detach the 2 claws and remove the duct.





33. REMOVE REAR NO. 4 AIR DUCT
(a) Detach the 4 claws and remove the duct.





34. REMOVE REAR NO. 5 AIR DUCT
(a) Detach the 4 claws and remove the duct.





35. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER AIR DUCT
(a) Detach the 2 claws and remove the duct.





36. REMOVE NO. 2 COOLER AIR DUCT
(a) Detach the 3 claws and remove the duct.





37. DISCONNECT AIR CONDITIONING TUBE AND ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the 2 bolts and 2 tubes.
(b) Remove the 2 O-rings from the tube.
38. REMOVE REAR COOLING UNIT ASSEMBLY





(a) Disconnect the clamps and connectors.
(b) Remove the 4 bolts and rear cooling unit.
