B2411 - Headlight Swivel Motor RH Communication Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

The AFS ECU receives a signal from the headlight swivel motor using LIN communication.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR

(a) Disconnect the A22 AFS ECU connector.





(b) Disconnect the A56 or A59 headlight assembly connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance:

LH Side (B2410)
RH Side (B2411)










NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. REPLACE HEADLIGHT REFLECTOR (HEADLIGHT SWIVEL MOTOR)

OK:

Returns to normal operation.

NG -- REPLACE AFS ECU

OK -- END
